The Mohair Mat is a firmer more supportive single bed mattress and is ideal for children going into their first ‘big’ bed. The core of the mattress is made from horse tail hair, one of the most durable and resilient natural fibres in the world and is renowned for its long sturdy life. The hair also provides natural comfort and bounce. It is sandwiched together with organic coir, for extra support and breathability. A silky Mohair fleecewraps around the outside of the mattress to create a sumptuous outer layer and acts as a luxurious thermal insulator. The mattress cover is made from 100% unbleached herringbone cotton and can be taken off and machine washed at 60ºC to kill all bacteria and dust mites.

Conforms to British Safety Standards (BS EN597, BS 7177) without using any chemical fire retardants which may cause skin allergies and respiratory problems.
