The Coco Mat is made from coir (the husk of a coconut) which comes from the only organic coir plantation in the world and is certified by Control Union, one of the world’s top organic inspection organisations in the world. The coir forms the centre of the mattress, it is highly breathable which means there is a constant circulation of air through the mattress. The coir is coated in a natural latex to maximise ventilation and add extra support. A soft lambswool fleece wraps around the outside of the coir. The lambswool is treated with essential oils from lemon, lavender and eucalyptus which renders it anti-dust mite.

These mattresses are naturally fire retardant passing British Safety Standards (BS EN597, BS 7177) without using any chemicals.

The mattress cover is made from 100% unbleached herringbone cotton which ensures the mattress is kept as natural as possible. The cover can be unzipped and machine washed at 60ºC to kill bacteria and dust mites.
